Four Games for your website: Quiz, Crossword, Word Search and Daily Word

Your website can now be somewhere people come to play. Domma CMS has four Games: Quiz, Crossword, and two new ones, Word Search and Daily Word. Each is a Pro Tool, and each can be gifted - we can switch one on for your site for good, or for a few weeks so you can see how your visitors take to it.

Four Games

• Quiz - timed quizzes with one or several right answers, true or false, or a typed answer.
• Crossword - type the answers and clues and the grid lays itself out.
• Word Search - type up to 40 words and the letter grid is made for you. Players drag, tap or use the keyboard to find them.
• Daily Word - one hidden word a day, the same for everyone. Six guesses, each letter marked green, yellow or grey.

Players give a name and play - no account, no email. The server keeps the clock and marks every answer, so nobody can see the answers early or stop the clock, and the leaderboards are fair.

What every Game now has

• Hints, if you want them. Switch hints on for a game and choose how many seconds each one costs. A hint takes two wrong answers away in a quiz, fills a letter in a crossword, shows where a word starts in a word search, or puts one letter in its place in Daily Word.
• Leaderboards where you want them. Show the board under the game, hide it, or show only the board. Put every Game's boards on one page with [games-leaderboards].
• A personal best on every finished screen, and a Share button that never gives the answers away. Daily Word shares its result as coloured squares.
• A little movement. Letters pop in, right answers pulse, solved rows bounce. It is a setting, and it never plays for visitors who have asked their device for less motion.
• Export and import. Move a game to another site as a file. It arrives as a draft, ready to test.

Daily Word brings people back

Daily Word is built to be part of someone's day. Everyone gets the same word, so it is something to talk about. Streaks count the days in a row a name has solved it, and the board can rank the longest streaks. Missed a day? The archive lets people play past days, without changing anyone's place on the board. You choose the words, see the ones coming up on a calendar, and get a warning a week before your list runs out.

Quiz and Crossword used to come with every site, switched off. They are now Pro Tools like the two new Games, so they reach a site when it has them - bought or gifted.
