ACME's demo shop runs on the free Shopping Cart Tool, on this site. Add things to the basket, change the options, go through checkout - it all works. The only thing switched off is payment: ACME does not exist, so nothing is charged, sent or emailed.

A featured product
The No. 4 Smoothing Plane is marked featured, so it leads the shop, and it shows how many are left.
Options with their own price
The Starter Kit comes in ash or beech at different prices; the Mitre Saw offers two blades. Each option has its own stock.
Sold out
The Ring Spanner Set has none left, on purpose. See how the shop says so and will not take it.
Basket and checkout
One page: change quantities, choose delivery, pay. Here "pay" is the offline option, relabelled as a demo.
Orders to fulfil, in the sidebar.
Every order lands in the admin with its status: awaiting payment, paid and to fulfil, fulfilled, refunded. Mark one fulfilled with a tracking number, print a packing slip, or refund it through Stripe or PayPal in one click. A badge in the sidebar counts the orders waiting for you.

Switch it on, add products, choose how to be paid.
Switch the Tool on
Shopping Cart is free. The shop appears at /shop (this demo moved it to /demo/shop in the settings - no restart needed).
Add products
Name, price, pictures, a category and, if you like, options such as size or colour, each with its own price, SKU and stock. Or start from the sample products.
Choose payment
Stripe, PayPal, payment offline (bank transfer, cash on collection), or any mix. Delivery by flat rate, free over an amount, or collection; tax included or added.
Sell from any page
Put products into ordinary pages as well as the shop.

The free Cart sends no emails: the receipt page is the shopper's record. Shopping Cart Pro adds discount codes, shipping zones, tax by country, branded order emails and Insights with abandoned checkouts - and a lapsed licence leaves the shop and every order exactly as they were.
