The admin

Everything in one place, arranged your way.

Pages, media, data, forms, users, settings and every Tool you switch on live in one admin. Every screen works the same way - one Save, a right-click menu on every row, help beside every setting - and the sidebar is yours to arrange.

A sidebar you arrange

Put any Tool in any folder, group Tools inside folders, hide the ones you never use. Switch on Arrange mode and drag things into place; Done saves it for everyone.

Live counts beside each Tool

Drafts, unread mail, overdue to-dos, form submissions, visitors right now. Hover a count for the detail behind it. A closed folder adds up what is inside.

Your own front door

Choose which screen the admin opens on - the Dashboard, Analytics, the Shop, any Tool. People who cannot use that screen get the Dashboard instead.

Help beside every setting

A (?) next to anything that needs explaining. It stays open as you scroll, flips to fit the screen and works on a phone.

One Save, and nothing lost

Every editor has one Save, Ctrl+S and an Unsaved bar. Leave with changes and it asks first, then offers your draft back next time.

A menu on every row

Right-click, the ⋮ button or Shift+F10 on any page, entry, user or file for everything you can do with it. What you cannot do is greyed out, with the reason.

The manual is inside the product.

The admin carries its own Documentation folder: how to use every screen, tutorials, the API reference, and a page on editions and licences. It always matches the version you are running.

  • Every Tool brings its user guide. Switch a Tool on and its guide appears under Documentation, for the people allowed to use it.
  • Guided walk-throughs - including one that builds a small app from a collection, a form and an action, from inside the page editor.
  • Dates you can read - day, month, year everywhere, with 24-hour times.

Built from its own parts

The admin is the proof.

Tabs, slideovers, toasts, tables, popovers, context menus and forms all come from Domma, the framework underneath. The admin is built from them, your pages render the same ones, and your own Tools get them free.

Nine admin themes of its own, or any site theme, keep it looking the way you like - separately from the public site.
