You type a list of words or short phrases. Players guess them letter by letter, with a tap or their keyboard, before the drawing is finished. The words stay on the server until each one is over, and the best go tops the leaderboard.

Phrases welcome
Spaces, hyphens and apostrophes are shown from the start and never guessed. Add a category as a clue if you like.

See it in 5 minutes
- Open Tools > Games > Hangman and press New game.
- Give it a title and type your words, one a line. Pasting a list works too.
- Pick Random or Daily under How it is played, press Test and play it yourself.
- Set it to Open, save, and put

A daily game
The same words for everyone
Choose Daily and a First day. Day 1 plays the first words of your list, day 2 the next, and so on, with one go per name per day. The editor shows when your words run out.
Told before it runs dry
When an open daily game has words for 7 days or fewer, you get a notification. Add more to the end of the list and it carries on.
Straight answers.
- The words stay on the server. A player's browser only gets blanks for letters not yet found, and a word is shown in full only once it is over.
- Words that are not allowed in a game are refused, using the same list that keeps rude names off the leaderboards.
- Players give a name only - no account and no email. Share never gives a word away.
