A door to open every day.
Advent Calendar puts a calendar of doors on any page, with one door opening each day. Use it in December, or as a countdown to a launch, an event or a big day. Behind each door goes a message, a picture, a link, a link to another Game, or a code for your shop.
What Advent Calendar does for you
1 to 31 doors
24 to start with. Door 1 opens on the day you choose, and each door opens at midnight, site time.
Messages and pictures
A heading, a message with bold, lists and links, a picture from Media and a link button.
Codes behind doors
A code everyone shares, a unique one each from your list, or a single-use Shop discount code with Shopping Cart Pro.
Hunt for today's door
Doors in order, or shuffled like a real advent calendar. Classic doors, baubles or gift tags, in your theme's colours.
Catch up, or not
Missed doors can stay openable, or each door opens only on its own day.
Preview any day
Preview as day N shows the calendar as it will be on any day. It records nothing and uses no codes.
See it in 5 minutes
- Open Tools > Games > Advent Calendar and press New calendar.
- Choose the day door 1 opens and how many doors. Click a door in the Preview and type what is behind it.
- Press Preview as day N and open the doors on any day you like.

Opens, door by door
Opens shows your visitors, the doors opened, the codes given and today's opens. Every open is listed, a Shop code shows whether it has been used, and Download CSV saves the lot.
Codes that do not run dry
The sidebar shows doors running low on codes, and you get a notice. Paste more codes into a door to top it up. Switch on the daily summary for yesterday's opens and today's door.
Straight answers.
- What is behind a door stays on the server until its day. The page knows only the door numbers and their days.
- A visitor who opens a door again sees the same code, and each connection gets at most a few unique codes from a door a day (3 unless you change it). The connection is kept only as a scrambled code.
- Visitors just open the doors, or type a first name if you ask - no account and no email.
